Welcome

I am an intuitive abstract painter living and working on the Lizard, Cornwall.  I work very much freestyle with no preconceived ideas when beginning a painting, instead my paintings develop through mark making and the colours I choose.  Often my work can evoke, a period in time, an emotion or the natural world, but ultimately there is no intrinsic meaning behind the paintings and they are entirely open to individual interpretation.

I am an associate member of Penwith Gallery, St Ives, Cornwall and member of the National Acrylic Painters Association (NAPA).  I have exhibited at a range of galleries in St Ives, including:  Penwith Gallery, St Ives Society of Artists Open Exhibitions, The Crypt and Salthouse Gallery (Solo Show).  Elsewhere I have exhibited at: The Poly, Falmouth, Form Falmouth, Ryebank Gallery, Rye, East Sussex, Museum and Art Gallery Wells, Somerset (NAPA exhibition - awarded Global Arts Prize) and Kennaway House, Sidmouth, Devon.
